I painted a mural at the Pahala Sr. Citizen Center years ago and maintained a relationship with the seniors at the center by teaching art there for several years afterwards. In my visits to Pahala, I would notice unique beauty. One that struck me such was this window of a cane house with a branch of mangos hanging in front of it.
