My main interest is cultural. The process of self discovery has immersed me in a social study of my self - as a woman, mother, wife - as an employee, an American and a creature of this Earth.

My voice is paint

The feminine images float and dance; sometimes through real life situations, at other times as elements: the wind, water, earth or fire.  They proclaim the feminine as Universal Mother in every mood - in peace and in crisis.  In their social commentary role, they portray the warrior Goddesses who do battle for our heart's deepest truth.  As heralds of the elements, they are the Earth Goddesses and they encourage us to balance ourselves with our connections to this Earth.

For the past fourteen years Hawai'i has been my source of inspiration.  Here the feminine lives in the land, the foliage and the culture. My heartfelt belief is that we are being asked to harmonize with one another and honor the grand web of creation as a resplendent robe which is woven together by the interaction of our lives.  It is up to us to create peace by living peacefully.  It is up to us to weave beauty with our lives.
