"Anthuriums on Teal"

I needed inspiration. Too many panoramics and too much green, green, green. I had a stack of 24” x 48” canvases and turned one vertical. “Yes.” I could see the anthuriums cross hatching that surface. Weaning myself gently from green, I decided to backdrop the flowers’ pinks with a tealy green to enhance the vibration of the flowers. Painting this made me feel so good, I turned the vase and got “Anthuriums on Blue” going.
